Fees may vary depending on the type of service provided to you or your loved one. Costs can be provided by contacting the practice.
Accounts can be paid on the day of your appointment via EFTPOS, VISA or MasterCard.
Medicare Rebates
Medicare rebates are available for a range of specified psychological services, as listed below. To be eligible for a Medicare rebate individuals need to be referred by their General Practitioner, Psychiatrist or Paediatrician.
- Better Access to Mental Health Care Initiative– Individuals with an assessed mental health concern can claim up to 10 individual sessions per calendar year. A referral via a G.P Mental Health Care Plan, or a letter from a psychiatrist or paediatrician is required.
- Chronic Disease Management Initiative – Individuals with a chronic medical condition and complex care needs can claim up to 5 individual sessions per calendar year. Referral requires a GP Management Plan and Team Care Arrangements (TCA).
- Eating Disorders Initiative – Individuals with a diagnosed Eating Disorder – can claim up to 40 individual sessions per 12 month period ( review with G.P every 10 sessions and psychiatrist or paediatrician at 20 sessions) under the Eating Disorder Plan. Referral requires a G.P Eating Disorders Plan.
- Non Directive Pregnancy Support Initiative- Individuals who are currently pregnant or who have been pregnant in the preceding 12 months for any pregnancy related issues can be referred for up to 3 individual sessions. Referral requires a G.P letter.

Private Health Rebates
You may be eligible to receive rebates from your private health insurance. Please speak to your insurer to check your level of extras cover.
Cancellations
A minimum of 2 business days’ notice is required for cancellations, otherwise 50% of the fee will apply (not claimable via Medicare). Please note that weekends and public holidays are not business days. Same day cancellations, or failure to attend an appointment, will attract the full fee (not claimable via Medicare). Cancellations can be made via email as well as phone/voicemail.
